This was our first Big Wedding after the Pandemic hit.
And I guess the word “Big” is subjective because up until this point in 2020, the weddings that we shot were microweddings or miniweddings consisting of 15 people or less for a short period of time, like this one. But Porsha and David envisioned their wedding day different.
In order to have the wedding that they envisioned
they had to change venues to accommodate more guests than what PG County allowed. They had to make some other decisive last minute changes to ensure that their event would be safe for their guests and luckily for them they had an amazing wedding coordinator to help guide them through it all.

Porsha and David met at Towson University
where they both modeled together. They both were casted as lead models in Towson’s Fashion Show and ended up hitting it off! Their friendship quickly blossomed into a romance and not too long after that, they were sitting on the other side of the table from us discussing wedding plans :) From the moment we met these two, we knew their wedding would be a blast. Even though no one could for-see what 2020 had in store for us.
Even with everything going on in 2020,
this couple pushed through and still had a beautiful wedding that reflected them to a Tee! Their day was real glamour with a classic black and rose gold with bling accents. Their guests were wowed by the decor and all appreciated the warm personality that shined through during their ceremony with their heartwarming vows. During the reception they paid homage to David’s fraternity and they had a surprise fashion show entrance for their guests. The final cherry on top is that it was the grooms birthday and his bride made arrangements to surprise him with a special cake to end the night with.
