Not every wedding needs a packed ballroom to feel grand.
For their intimate Baltimore wedding celebration, Azaria and Ross invited their closest family and friends to join them for an upscale dining experience at Citron in Baltimore, Maryland. With rich emerald details, incredible food, and personal touches throughout the evening, their celebration felt elegant without ever losing its intimacy.
Before heading to Citron, we met the couple and their family at Blue Stone Park for portraits by the water. It was one of those beautiful end-of-summer evenings made even sweeter by having their parents, siblings, and uncle there to celebrate alongside them.
An Intimate Wedding Reception at Citron Baltimore
Back at Citron, their guests had settled in with signature cocktails and appetizers as the evening began.
Azaria and Ross filled their reception with details that felt authentically them. Disposable cameras waited on the tables for guests to document the evening from their own perspectives. A playlist they created together became the soundtrack for dinner, and an old-fashioned telephone allowed their loved ones to leave recorded messages for them to listen to long after the celebration was over.
And then there was the food. As dinner was served, you could literally hear compliments to the chef traveling around the room. It was exactly the kind of upscale dining experience Azaria and Ross envisioned sharing with the people they love most.
Their Citron Baltimore wedding celebration was proof that intimate doesn't have to mean simple. It can be intentional, elevated, deeply personal, and filled with just as much beauty as a celebration twice its size.
Azaria and Ross wanted their wedding to feel intimate and authentic.
We think they did exactly that. 🤍
