When your bride has an artistic background, you find a location worthy of the love story.
For Tazmine and Demetrius' Baltimore engagement session, they wanted something elegant and sophisticated that also reflected Tazmine's love for art. As we envisioned iconic staircases, marble columns, timeless artwork, and grand architecture, one place immediately came to mind: The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Walters has always been special to me. I spent so much time here during my undergraduate years in Baltimore, so returning to photograph a couple deeply in love within these same beautiful halls felt incredibly fitting.
And these two dressed for the occasion.
Tazmine wore a stunning black dress with a silver braided accent cascading down the side, while Demetrius complemented her perfectly in a classic black suit and crisp white button-up. Against the museum's grand staircases, marble details, and works of art, everything came together for timeless and romantic engagement portraits that felt like them.
More importantly, their Walters Art Museum engagement session gave us the perfect opportunity to spend time together and get to know this sweet couple before their 2027 wedding day.
Tazmine + Demetrius, we can't wait to see you at the altar next year. 🤍
Love Deeply,
Megan + Garrett Pitts
