There are some weddings that don’t just leave an impression—they leave a rhythm in your heart. Tiff and Jon’s day was one of those celebrations. Held at the beautiful Sinclair venue, their wedding was vibrant, soulful, and deeply rooted in love—love for each other, their families, their culture, and their community.
From the very beginning, Tiff and Jon knew what they wanted: a wedding that honored their Caribbean heritage, celebrated their Black love, and stayed true to who they are—hip-hop lovers, culture bearers, and joyful visionaries. And they did exactly that.
As a Black husband-and-wife photography and videography team, we were beyond honored to be chosen to document this sacred celebration. They intentionally partnered with Black-owned wedding vendors to bring their vision to life, choosing to invest in businesses that reflect their values. It was a love letter to legacy and a reminder that joy is revolutionary.

The day began with quiet anticipation.
We captured the details in their hotel suites—gold accessories, fragrant florals, and heartfelt notes tucked away. Before the ceremony, we arranged a sacred moment where Tiff and Jon could pray together without seeing each other. Just hands clasped tightly, eyes closed, and hearts full.
Tiff walked down the aisle to a live performance by a close friend, the sound of her steps weaving into a chorus of emotion. Their ceremony was a mix of joyful laughter, meaningful glances, and tender tears. And as they jumped the broom, they leapt into marriage surrounded by ancestral strength and present-day love.
While guests mingled at cocktail hour, we captured portraits—family, wedding party, and the two of them wrapped in golden-hour light. Then came the big reveal: their reception space, dripping in florals in warm tones of orange and pink, glowing candlelight, and gold accents. Before anyone else entered, Tiff and Jon shared a private first dance beneath a ceiling of blooms. It was quiet. Sacred. Just for them.
And then the party began.
From sparklers on the dance floor to the bass thumping with old-school hip-hop, every detail of the night reflected their joy. Their guests danced like they had been waiting for this moment for years—and maybe they had. The night ended with coconut cake, a final toast, and one last quiet embrace before the doors closed.
Tiff and Jon, thank you for allowing us to witness and preserve your story. Your day was a reminder that weddings aren’t just about beauty—they’re about legacy. About joy. About choosing each other again and again in the presence of those who love you most.
If you're planning a wedding that’s rooted in culture and filled with intentionality, we’d love to capture it for you. Because every love story deserves to be told—especially the ones that dance.
Love Deeply,
Megan + Garrett
