We dont usually get requests for Baby Sessions

let alone requests with such a unique and exciting theme. Astin’s mother wanted something different to help celebrate her sons birthday. She wanted a Biggie Smalls theme to celebrate this Big Boy. We all know these COVID birthdays have been tough. Not being able to celebrate with all of your friends and family has been a little sad this year so finding a way to make us all smile has been one of your goals this year. Not everything has to be perfect but they should at least bring a smile to our face. This session definitely does!

Astin’s mother and I talked about our pregnancy journey as I photographed her son. Believe it or not this Big boy spent some time in the NICU and missed out on “newborn” photos. But she wasn’t letting his 1st birthday go by without celebrating him with professional photos that help reflect his personality. This fit him perfectly! He was such a perfect model (even with Bailey distracting him).

We did a few shots of him sitting without the crown and just slowly started to incorporate different elements, like the chain and the glasses to complete the look. It was also important for Astin’s mother to incorporate his first size diaper to show how much he’s grown with one year. it’s amazing how fast they grow!

Thank you so much for including us in his 1 year photos. I’m thrilled to have these photos in our portfolio. It’s so important to reflect our culture within our childs photos. This is our history and it deserves to be shared. Our grandchildren will see these photos one day and that’s something we can be proud about.
