One of the greatest joys of being photographers is watching our couples grow into families.
Years ago, we photographed Jocelyn and Josh's wedding. Today, we have the honor of capturing their family year after year, and it's a privilege we'll never take for granted.
This year's session at Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore, Maryland was one of our favorites. Surrounded by the lush greenery of summer, the family chose a bold palette of primary colors that beautifully contrasted with the landscape. Jocelyn wore blue, Josh wore red, their youngest brightened the session in yellow, and their oldest tied it all together with green shorts and a neutral top. The result was timeless, vibrant, and full of personality.
One of the things we love most about annual family sessions is that every year tells a new chapter. The children grow a little taller, personalities shine a little brighter, and the memories become even more meaningful.
Watching former wedding couples become parents and continuing to preserve their family's story—is one of the greatest gifts of what we do.
