Some places have a way of making you feel like you've traveled much farther than you actually have.
Phil and Amber's family session at Concord Point Light Station in Havre de Grace, Maryland felt like a quiet summer evening along the New England coast. With soft overcast skies, the historic lighthouse, and peaceful waterfront views, the setting created the perfect backdrop for timeless family portraits.
Amber and the children wore soft whites and pastel tones, while Phil's navy polo and khaki pants complemented the coastal scenery beautifully. Together, their wardrobe reflected the classic, relaxed feel they envisioned for their family photographs.
We began at the lighthouse before exploring the shoreline, capturing cozy moments by the water as they laughed, walked, and simply enjoyed being together.
One thing that stood out during the session was how excited Phil and Amber were to create something lasting not just for themselves, but for their children and, one day, even their grandchildren. These photographs are more than portraits; they're a piece of their family's story that can be shared for generations.
That's why we love family photography. It isn't just about documenting what your family looks like today—it's about preserving the love that will become part of your legacy tomorrow.
If you're looking for a scenic waterfront location with timeless coastal charm, Concord Point Light Station is one of our favorite places for family portraits in Maryland.
