Great News Guys! We’re returning to the Baltimore Wedding Experience this February! We’re even hosting a Giveaway on Facebook and Instagram to celebrate (you should enter). It’s our second year back and we are Sooo excited to meet some new couples and vendors :) To help our future brides out, we decided to create a list of What Brides Should Definitely Bring to a Bridal Show like this one to make the most out of their time and wedding planning experience. Here it is!
First thing First! Create a separate e-mail account for all of your wedding inquiries to go through. Wedding planning can get overwhelming, it’s much easier to keep all of your wedding materials organized into one online space. Your e-mail address can be as easy as yourfuturelastnameandweddingdate@gmail.com easy right!?
Print Out Labels with your name, contact information (wedding E-mail Address and phone number), and Date of Wedding. These Labels are perfect for this event and under $15. If you order these today through Amazon Prime you will have them by showtime! When you bring pre-made labels to Wedding Expos, you can save time and energy when entering into raffles and giveaways and get back to the important things!
Bring a Friend who knows the basic details of your ideal wedding day to help ask inportant questions that you may not think of on the spot and to pick up information that you may have missed. To really help out, they should know your date, the aesthetic of your wedding day and what vendors you already have locked in. You can also bring a mommy figure or your fiance’ (they love the free cake samples).
Bring a Positive Attitude and willingness to connect. The Wedding Vendors who are there are people too! This is the best opportunity to ask all of your hard hitting questions face-to-face and get some real answers which we can all agree is better than through e-mail. This also is a perfect opportunity to see how well your chemistry matches with that professional. Remember that liking a vendors work and price is not always enough when planning your wedding. Your wedding is a very personal and sentimental experience, having vendors who are experienced in their field as well as kind and caring towards you on your day will mean so much more when looking back.
We hope these tips help when it comes to Wedding Expos. We know how overwhelming these shows are (we’ve been in your shoes). We hope you find what you are looking for and if you happen to run into us (Megapixels Media) at the show please stop by and say HEY! :) Free Hugs also available. See you soon!
