4 Tips to Making Your Engagement Photos more Vibrant | Baltimore Wedding Photographers

Looking for your Engagement Photos to POP?!

I mean, look like they’re gonna just jump right off the screen with bold, rich and intense colors? Well you’ve come to the right blog today!

How You Edit

We edit all of our photos in house. Each photo by hand and for each couple we create their own custom preset that best reflects their skin tone (which is another reason why we love having a chance to shoot them before their wedding day). It’s crucially important to get things right in camera but editing at home is the cherry on top to make your vision come to life! If you’d like any help with editing, please feel free to reach out to us at hello@megapixelsmedia.com.

Time of Day

We know you’ve heard us say this over and over and over. For that soft dewey light, best time to shoot is golden hour. BUT what if you want your photos to POP? What if you dont want that cute light and airy look but something more dramatic, something you can feeeel… well we would definitely recommend something like this, before or right after high noon. Graffiti alley is the perfect place to pull this off and when you have a creative couple like Emmie and Quinn here, colorful magic is inevitable.

What You Wear

And speaking of Emmie and Quinn, THEY ROCKED THIS LOOK! We were so excited when they emailed us concept ideas for their wedding, we should have known the engagement session was going to be just as dope. What you wear to your engagement session can play a huge role in how your photos come out. For places like Graffiti Alley where the background is sooo busy, we would always recommend wearing something monochrome (1 basic color), The African print that they both shared in their attire bought the whole look together and even shows a piece of their story together. We loved that!
