One of the best places to have your Engagement Session is at the place where you first met.
This is one of the first pieces of Advice we give to couples who are planning their engagement session, Luckily for this couple, it was somewhere classically historic and structurally beautiful, Baltimore’s City Hall. This couple not only met there, but Kyle proposed to Danielle at the very top after a fun date night. When Danielle first reached out to us, she expressed that she needed to have her engagement session there because of how sentimental it was to the two of them.
She verbally explained what the experience was like hiking to the top of this historic building, but Garrett and I drastically underestimated how huge and beautiful this space would be. When we finally made it all the way to the top, the view was absolutely breathtaking and we start our session with the couple.
As we made our way back down City Hall, we gave Danielle and Kyle different posing prompts to get them in the best positions for engagement photos. We love capturing our couples organically so we use a technique we like to call flow posing to get our couple to have fun while having their photo taken. And here’s what they had to say about the session…
“The session was fun; more fun than we expected. We appreciated the lessons of how to get the best photo capture. With that being said, we know that we made the right choice.”
