As soon as I saw Jessica was planning on wearing a tiara for her big day, I couldn’t help but think that this was going to be a Royal Wedding. Once I saw that Walter and his boys were wearing Gold and Burgundy under Navy Blue Tuxedos, I was regally convinced. They were having a Royal Wedding right here in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jessica and her girls got ready at Hotel Monaco and then quickly made their way to Lovely Lane Church where she would eventually meet her fiance at the end of the aisle. Jessica fell in love with this church when she would come to visit with her choir to sing. She just knew it would be the perfect place to have her ceremony when the time came.
As she walked down the aisle, closer and closer to Walter her eyes filled with joyous tears as the choir harmonized from the balcony above the altar. Walter’s face lit up when he became face to face with his bride and kept her close to him all through the ceremony. They partook in lighting the unity candle, communion, their first kiss and jumping the broom before heading out of the chapel. Their family waited for them outside for hugs, kisses and well-wishes!
They met the remainder of their guests at Preston Hall to celebrate. The venue was beautiful decorated for this King and Queen as they danced the night away! This was a day that not only the two of them had been waiting on but as someone who has known Walter for 16 years (yes, sixteen) it’s a day that I have been excited for since Walter shared that he ring shopping for his Queen. After Spending the day with this couple during their Engagement Session, the butterflies really set in for me and the realization that these two were going to be loving each other on a really deep level for the rest of their lives. I remember Jess saying “Souls recognize Souls” that day and that has stuck with me since that day. Best Wishes You Two!
Big Thank you to Jocelyn of Radiant Imagery by Jocelyn Renae for helping us capture this day!
