It’s the end of the year so you know what that means… Time to share some of our best wedding images of the year!
2019 was our 5th Year in business and we had the pleasure of documenting 25 Weddings this year!
It’s been a beautifully moving year because even though it’s our fifth year in the wedding industry it’s been the first for so many other factors regarding our business and relationship with each other. This year was the first year I (Megan) tackled being a wedding photographer as my full-time job (read about that here) and being able to pour more of myself into this business and my passion has been unspeakably rewarding. But the most rewarding part of 2019 has been the journey to becoming a parent with my husband (and creative business partner).
Words can not even begin to explain how amazing the journey has been this year as we welcomed our daughter into the world. Our couples/clients have been so involved in our lives and knowing that we’ve been able to attract the type of clients who care for others like we care has been a huge blessing. Our clients understand how hard we work for them and knowing that they truly trust the process and care for us as people (not just hired vendors) lets us know that souls recognize souls. I know we say this often here but keeping it real and transparent with our clients is one of the cornerstones of our business. Staying compassionate and caring with our clients is one of our core values and when it’s reflected back to us, we are sincerely grateful.
Weddings bring about a lot of emotions and remind us what’s really important in life, LOVE and FAMILY. The fact that we are all connected to each other regardless of skin complexion or demographic upbringing is so apparent when your vision is clear and your heart is open. We all face similar struggles and victories and we are able to share our experience and wisdom with others is where a true connection is born. Luckily for us, we’ve found this connection in so many of our clients and families that we’ve had the pleasure of shooting this year. We wish to continue these good vibes to more individuals throughout 2020.
