This love story is one of our favorites because it is one rooted in bravery and compassion.
Richard met Megan right before she found out her cancer diagnosis and when some men would
have left, Richard grew even closer to her. He stayed and supported her throughout her fight with
cancer.
In 2016, she celebrated her remission and Rick dropped to one knee to humbly ask her to spend
the rest of her life with him.
In 2017, they planned a beautiful wedding at Sparrows Point Country Club (Baltimore,
Maryland), adopted an adorable akita puppy (Hey Roscoe!) and are still strong advocates for
ovarian cancer awareness.
When happy tears are flowing before the ceremony starts, you know you’re about to have a good
time! Megan and Rick wrote love letters to each other before the ceremony, Megan did a first
look with her dad and after they said I DO they partied the night away with all of their closest
friends and family. This family was so full of love on this day that we truely felt like part of the family by time we left.
We had an outstanding time celebrating with them and we are continued to be inspired by these
