All of the images were taken from our film camera, the Leica M6. "Wait like real film? That needs to get developed? They still do that?" One of our friends asked and "Yes! It's not as popular but it's just as rewarding!" It's a little challenging finding the camera, the type of film and photo lab that you really love working with but once you've found your divine combo, get ready for a spellbinding experience.
When we started our photography journey in 2010, the art of street photography was our genre of preference. We largely studied the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson and knew 3 things for sure: we wanted to travel to France, we wanted a Leica and we wanted to capture decisive moments on film. Your eyes will see the culture, sites and textures that we were privileged to experience while we visited the City of Love. We've lived out this dream and it feels great! Here's a few of our favorite film captures from Europe.
