Some of the most meaningful creative projects begin with a simple conversation—and this one began with a phone call from Elite Secrets Bridal.

When Tonya reached out with the vision for this styled shoot, we immediately knew it was something special. As husband and wife wedding photographers and videographers based in Maryland, we are always drawn to projects rooted in culture, connection, and intentional storytelling. This one embodied all three.

When Elisa, owner of The Empanada Lady, graciously agreed to allow us to use her restaurant as the living backdrop for the shoot, everything began to fall beautifully into place.

What followed was a collaborative effort between an incredible team of creative business owners, artists, and wedding professionals throughout Baltimore. Each bringing their own artistry, passion, and cultural perspective to the experience. Together, we created a vibrant editorial session that was later featured by Baltimore Weddings, celebrating love, culture, cuisine, and community.

From the fashion styling and florals to the storytelling details woven throughout the imagery, every part of the shoot reflected the beauty of creating events that feel authentic and deeply personal. We wanted this session to inspire couples and families to embrace celebrations that reflect who they truly are—their heritage, personality, traditions, and love story.

As Black husband and wife wedding photographers, this type of storytelling means everything to us. We believe weddings and milestone events should feel lived in, emotionally rich, and culturally connected—not simply beautiful for the sake of appearance, but meaningful in a way that lasts far beyond the event itself.

Creating, documenting, and participating in experiences rooted in love, culture, and intention is truly our love language.
