It’s always sweet when the bridesmaids come together and create a beautiful gift to present to the bride on her wedding day. The girls in the Wormley Wedding really touched our hearts when they gave Shelby a scrapbook of love letters, funny stories and warm wishes for the future. She started blushing as soon as she opened the book and told them that she would cherish this present forever.
“There’s one more thing” her Maid of Honor said and then passed her a small box. Shelby started to unwrap the second present and once she noticed exactly what it was she could not hold back her tears. It was a silver charm that read “Walk with me Dad” that she could attach to her bouquet. On the other side of the charm was a photo of her father who passed recently. She held on tight to the small charm with silver angel wings as her girls consoled her. There was not a dry eye in the room. She could not thank them enough for being with her not only on this day, but through the whole journey. “That’s what friends are for.”
