There are so many ways to celebrate a milestone. Last year, this couple celebrated their 5th Wedding Anniversary and they came all the way up from Virginia to scale rooftops in Baltimore City with us for some stunning images. This year Jacquetta wanted to gift her husband a photo session for his 30th birthday.
2016 has been one tough year. It has been a defining year of growth for many people (us included). We chose to shoot this session at the United States National Arboretum in Washington DC because it symbolized strength, longevity and honor. When we think of Dee- that’s what comes to mind.
We began shooting in the Bonsai Garden, where some of the world’s oldest and most beautiful bonsai and penjing reside. We then made our way over to the center of the arboretum to the original National Capitol Columns that originally supported the United States Capitol back in the 1800’s. They made the perfect backdrop for such a classic couple. They loved their images so much that they left us a sweet review on our facebook !
“This was my family's second shoot with Megan and Garrett and, per usual, they are second to none. They really brought our vision to life and made taking pictures in 40 degree weather so much fun! We have made them our official family photographers because when you've found the best why would you go anywhere else? They never disappoint!”
