Remember when we talked about Golden Hour? And we talked about this Engagement Session?
That was a morning session. This time we want to talk about what some photographers refer to as Silver Hour. This is the time of day when the sun is setting past the horizon and leaving a silver glow on the atmosphere all around you. Choosing a location to best showcase this type of light is challenging. In our experience, we found this works best in city high-rises and on the beach. For Shineae and Eddie’s engagement session they chose Federal Hill in Baltimore, Maryland and it made for a perfect Silver Hour Engagement Session (You can see more of our Federal Hill Engagement Sessions, here)
They chose this location because it was where Eddie proposed and makes the perfect place to tie their photos with their actual love story. We always give suggestions of where couples should have their engagement session at our initial consultation but always recommend they choose a location that has sentimental value to them.
