Every year around this time, we make it a point to remind our friends who visit our blog to take family photos. Last week, we were reminded why it’s so important not to wait.
One of our clients bought there mom to their engagement session last month for moral support and to hold props lol The mom was so funny and colorful, you know, one of those people you instantly click with. She couldn’t stop saying how excited she was for her daughter and how much she loved her fiance. At the end of the session, we insisted that Mom hop in on just a couple photos since she was so awesome through our time together! I spoke with the Bride last week after seeing a IG post stating that her mother passed away. After offering my love and condolences, she thanked me for taking those group photos because the value now is immeasurable. From first hand knowledge, these are facts. The last photos of my mom is a selfie I took with my instax a month before she passed and my dad is blinking in it lol but you know what...its my favorite 😊 But, I say all this to say, get a family portrait done. I don't care if your ready or not. I don’t care where or with what photographer. As photographers we’ve heard every excuse in the book. Your family deserve photos of you with them. So here is just a reminder that tomorrow is never ever promised.
