Photography is something that I grew up around, but what really made it a passion for me was doing it with someone I love. We're both very competitive with each other so when we would go out with our cameras, it was like a sport- Who can do it faster/better? What looks/feels better? Who had better composition and why? (And yes, we fought about this kind of stuff lol) We learned so much through challenging and critiquing each other. It pushed us to learn more and to get better. Over the years, it passed over from being an expensive hobby to a dangerous obsession. Then after I married the girl with the camera, we decided to create a business doing something that we're both passionate about:
Authentically capturing couples deeply in love during one of the best moments of their lives.
My newest obsession has been in the art of film photography. I enjoy the raw feeling of manually capturing a moment and waiting until the film develops to see what came of it. It's a quite different process than digital but the outcome id so rewarding. It's another challenge that I'm excited to tackle. I've been taking my Leica M6 everywhere I go and practicing (you can see some of my favorite film shots here) We're excited to announce that we are starting to incorporate that work into our weddings for 2018. We cant wait to show it off to our couples!
