Our story starts with love…

We were two teenagers deeply in love when we were faced with the dilemma of a long distance relationship. We attended colleges that were in 2 different states and were constantly searching for ways to connect. We wrote letters, shared books and movies, gave each other challenges and in 2011 we discovered photography and quickly became obsessed.

We both saved up enough to purchase camera bodies and lenses that we could use on our weekends together. During the week, and in between our studies, we would research different photography techniques and styles, edit our past work and critique each other on composition punctum, lighting and complexity. The more we learned together, the more we fell in love with it all. Photography became our passion.

We became that couple carrying a camera everywhere we went and it did not go unnoticed. Friends started inviting us to more events and insisted that we bring our camera with us to take photos. Once we were engaged and the wedding planning started, our personal time with photography started to decrease as our interest in weddings peaked. Friends were still inviting us out except this time they were offering to pay us for our time and effort which was a huge blessing for us at this time. It gave us a therapeutic art outlet along with an opportunity to network and plan the wedding of our dreams. So we started crafting a business out of our passion.

After our wedding, friends and family instantly thanked us for such a good time and started asking us for wedding photography and planning advice. Soon after, we started to receive requests to be wedding photographers and after shooting it down a few times we decided to give it a try, just once. So we researched, studied and planned (true Garrett and Megan style) and before long, we shot our first wedding and LOVED IT. We had the best time immortalizing these moments and after receiving raving feedback from the Bride and Groom, we could not wait to do another one! We booked 9 weddings our first full year and almost doubled that amount the following year.

We have learned so much from our peers in the industry and our clients these past years of shooting weddings and we are so excited for more! It has been an enriching and soulful journey and we are seeking to spend our time with more couples who are, like us, deeply in love. We are looking for couples who have free spirits and warm hearts. We are searching for adventure seekers and art enthusiasts. We are seeking innovative and inspiring power-couples. We want to work with creative and fun couples that appreciate timeless and breathtaking photographs to remember their most precious memories.
