This Christmas, we decided to do a nice cozy Christmas Staycation in Baltimore City.

We didn't splurge a lot on gifts this year because we wanted to focus on more memorable experiences that we can look back on and have fond memories. One of those experiences by our 4 year old's request was to stay at a hotel with a big Christmas tree!

After a lot of consideration,

we decided to go with the Sagamore Pendry in Baltimore, Maryland because not only do they have a beautiful tree in the lounge area, but we would be able to see beautiful twinkly tree lights right from our bedroom window. What’s more whimsical than that?

To our surprise when we arrived and settled in, there was a live band singing some of our favorite songs for us to sit down and enjoy. Once the band retired, the hotel staff left out Christmas books for us to read to each other. We really enjoyed sitting on the sofa reading christmas books to our little girl all the way to bed time. In the morning, we headed downstairs to eat breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent but Bailey couldn't wait to go back to the lounge area to look at the tree again. We took just a couple of photos by the tree and then went out to enjoy the surrounding area of Fell's Point and later went to the harbor to Ice Skate with some old friends.
