Kalyn and Denzel embraced the magic of a winter wonderland and said 'I do' at the 1840’s Plaza in Baltimore City, Maryland.
Surrounded by the sparkling beauty of snow and the warmth of love these two had one of the best nights of their lives and we were there to capture all of the beautiful moments.
Kalyn got ready at the Carrollton Inn just steps away from the 1840’s Plaza. She couldn’t have asked for a more convenient preparation space. After she was ready she walked over the plaza and took the elevator up to the second floor where her groom and guests awaited her. The couple had a beautiful ceremony in front of large corner windows overlooking the city. Once their ceremony was complete they trusted their photographers to take formal family photos and bride and groom photos.
We escorted the couple outside of the Plaza for photos and just like magic, it began to snow.
The fluffy white snow was a beautiful contrast against the stark red building in the background. Snow can create a sense of depth and texture in photographs, as the various shades of white and gray in the snow add dimension to the image. Snow can also create a sense of serenity and peacefulness in photographs, as the shallow blanket of white can make the scene appear calm and untouched. We had an amazing time photographing this couple in the snow.
Their reception was held in the ballroom on the 3rd floor of the plaza. Guests loved feeling cozy inside while watching the snow settle on the city below. It was a whimsical night and we’re thrilled to share our experience!
We hope this helps inspire other couples interested in this venue or having a winter wedding.

We absolutely love this venue for many reasons. Our top reasons include it being a completely unique and historic location in the heart of our favorite City.
The 1840s Plaza is located in the heart of Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, which is home to many of the city's cultural and historical landmarks. Originally built in 1840, The Plaza features a variety of event spaces, including a grand ballroom, a spacious courtyard, and a garden terrace. It has a unique blend of classic elegance and modern amenities.
We hope to see you there!
Love Deeply,
