Kiara and Patrick did it with style
at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland. Glamorous and Glistening, the couple celebrated their union with their friends and family! Their wedding day took place a few days after Megan unexpectedly gave birth to our daughter, so she was unable to make it. In this case, we called in one of our associate photographers, Geneva, to fill in for her. Real Life happens and when it does it’s great to have a plan :) The last two months leading up to Megan’s due date, we had professional photographers on stand-by just in case the unexpected happened (which, obviously, it did).
We were so happy to have a back-up plan and even more grateful that we had passionate and professional photog friends who could help out in our time of need. The love for our fellow photographers are inspiring us to write this blog while we share some of our favorite photos from Kiara and Patrick’s Wedding.

4 Ways You Can Give Back Your Wedding Photographer!
Share Your Photos
Post on Social Media and add 'with your wedding hashtag', Print and Hang around you house so people can see, Send your photos as Thank You Cards or Get Published! However you do it, Share your love of your photos with others! Please don’t just let them sit in your online Wedding Gallery. Take pride in your investment and share your love of photographic art with others. You never know who you may be inspiring ;)
Tag Your Photographer
When you post on Social Media PLEASE Tag Your Photographer! It doesn’t have to be a long formal posting, just your photogs name at the bottom of your caption (like this: @MegapixelsMedia) helps us out a TON! Because most of our business comes from Word of Mouth referrals. Someone who sees your beautiful photos may be looking for just the right photographer for them and just seeing your photographers name at the end of your post may inspire them to look into them and potentially book them.
Plus, your photographers work realllly hard and invest a lot of time to make sure that your images are stunning. Giving credit to your artist is a classic move that is always appreciated on the other end.
Refer Your Photographer to Your Friends
When we have a great experience at a restaurant, we can’t wait to tell our friends about it! The same goes for when we work with a professional service, we want to share it with others in hopes that they too will have just as a positive experience as we did.
Leave a Review
Last but certainly not least, please leave a review! This is the gift that keeps on giving because it is always up to show potential clients your real life experience with that professional. This is an easy and fast way to make a huge impact on someones business and one of the best gifts you can give your photographer after you’ve worked with them. We’ve found the best places to leave a review for people to see is on on facebook, google and wedding wire/the knot. (If you’ve worked with us in the past, we would absolutely LOVE if you left us a review here).
We hope this blog was helpful to you and we also hope you enjoyed the wedding photos while you were here! If you would like to set up a complimentary consultation to discuss your wedding photography expectations, please e-mail us at HELLO@MEGAPIXELSMEDIA.COM
