We know you’re used to long dramatic blog posts from us BUT we decided to switch it up a little today and give you some quick facts about the engagement sessions that we provide through Megapixels Media.
All of our wedding packages include an engagement session! That’s right, we want to get to know you before we show up at your wedding day. From the very first time we meet, we strive to be as openly transparent and informative as possible.
Our Engagement Sessions range from 30mins to an hour and a half (depending on the couple and what their comfortable with).

We know our clients are not professional models. So throughout the years we have learned techniques to help our clients look and feel their best in front of our lens. We even shared a few tips here :)
Each client receives an online gallery of all of their edited, high-resolution and non-watermarked images with the option to save and print at no additional cost. See an example here.
What you see is not just what you get! We only post our very top favorite images to our blog and to social media. Our client’s actual galleries have much more photos from their sessions. One of our mottos is “Under promise, over deliver.” See another example here.
Our client’s are in charge of choosing when and where there engagement session will be. Of course, we give recommendations but we always recommend that they choose somewhere sentimental to them.
You can wear 1-2 outfits during your session. We know it’s hard choosing! (Maybe this blog here can help)
We encourage our couples to be Fearless and to think outside the box when it comes to photography.
Sometimes we’ll even encourage you to bring a friend along ;)
We try to arm our readers with as much inside information on the wedding industry as we can in our blog (see the TIPS section here ). Yes, we are photographers but we are also a married couple and just like you (probably) planning a wedding for the first time and looking for as much useful information as possible.

We love meeting new couples and finding out what makes their relationship tick. Believe it or not, this actually strengthens our relationship and inspires us to be better :) Thanks for that yall!
We love giving back to those who make a positive impact in our lives and when we can we include them into our shoot to make a unique experience for our couples! For example, this engagement session was held at Main Street Ballroom (one of our favorite venues in Maryland). We invited vendors and couples to come to this space for an open house and invited couples to have their complimentary engagement session in a chic industrial space.
At the engagement session, we talk more to the couple about their wedding day and find out what gets them really excited as the day draws nearer. We also share with them a little more of what we can do to alleviate any potential stress.
