Autumn is still the most popular time to get married!
Why is that?
Well, in Maryland, we have this beautiful foliage thats present for just a short time that our couples love getting captured in their photos. Also, the weather is perfect! Not too warm and not too cold just yet so wedding guests can have the option of being inside or outside. It’s the perfect time to have a gathering and during COVID it’s the best option.

Natasha and Corey
booked one of 2020’s most popular wedding date (in October of course) but when the pandemic hit, like many couples, they had to pivot! Their original wedding venue informed them that due to the new ordinances they were unable to accommodate them in the way that they originally planned. Heartbroken but levelheaded, this couple decided they still wanted to get married on the date that they picked and they just needed to find a way to make it work.
One big lesson 2020 has taught us is to not stress about the things that we can’t change and to focus more on solutions. Which is exactly what this couple did.
Luckily for them
They had some good friends who could help out. One of their friends who owns a catering company allowed them to use their HUGE backyard for their ceremony and reception. They perfectly spaced chairs out for guests so that they could be socially distanced throughout the night.
Even though they weren’t at their wedding venue, they still abided by the Maryland COVID Guidelines for outside gatherings so that we all felt safe.
