the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. is an excellent choice. The Lincoln Memorial is not only a famous historical landmark but also a beautiful backdrop for capturing your love story in photos.

We met Sammy and Ella at an open house at Citizens Ballroom where we gave free engagement sessions all day! After we delivered their free engagement session they decided to book us for their wedding and we had a formal engagement session at the Lincoln Memorial.

Ella wore a stunning black silk gown and Samuel wore a dapper black tux.

The Lincoln Memorial is one of the most picturesque locations in Washington D.C. Its neoclassical architecture, towering columns, and stunning marble statue of Abraham Lincoln make it a breathtaking backdrop for engagement photos. The memorial is surrounded by a reflecting pool, which can create a beautiful reflection in your photos.

As wedding photographers, we took advantage of this location with different artistic techniques so that our couple could view this location like never before.

The Lincoln Memorial is an excellent location for engagement photos because it has fantastic lighting. During the daytime, the memorial is flooded with natural light, which can make your photos look bright and airy. It also has the ability to cast very sharp shadows if you’re looking for moody and contrasty photos. We did a little bit of both during this session. This location also allows us to create beautiful silouette unlike any other in DC.
