Jewel Toned Wedding at Haven Street Ballroom | Baltimore Wedding Photography
Remember Erin and Tyler?
Well the good vibes kept flowing, a little over a month after we photographed their engagement session we met up again for their wedding at Haven Street Ballroom!
This venue is a blank slate for couples to fully make their own. Erin and Tyler decided to decorate their space with Jewel Tones. Jewel tones are associated with a variety of rich, vibrant colors that are often associated with precious gems. Some commonly used jewel tones for weddings include:
Ruby Red: A deep, rich shade of red that evokes feelings of passion and love.
Sapphire Blue: A deep, rich shade of blue that symbolizes trust and loyalty.
Emerald Green: A rich, deep shade of green that is associated with growth and renewal.
Amethyst Purple: A deep, rich shade of purple that is associated with creativity and spirituality.
Topaz Yellow: A rich, warm shade of yellow that is associated with happiness and cheer.
Garnet Burgundy: A rich, deep shade of burgundy that is associated with elegance and sophistication.
These colors can be used individually or combined in different ways to create a unique and memorable wedding theme.
Jewel tones are rich, vibrant colors that can add a touch of elegance and luxury to a wedding. They are often associated with precious gems and can create a sophisticated and upscale look. Additionally, jewel tones can also add a pop of color to a wedding, making it more visually interesting and memorable. Overall, Jewel Tones are a great choice for a wedding as they can add elegance, luxury and a touch of color to the event.
Erin and Tyler arrived at Haven Street Ballroom to have a first look with their dog and to have a quick wedding rehearsal. After they rehearsed they headed to the preparation suite and we were able to snag a few formal bride and groom portraits while we waited for more guests to arrive. After the ceremony we photographed family formal photos before getting a few more portraits of our couple around Haven Street Ballroom’s neighborhood.
We returned our couple just in time for their first dance
and afterwards the couple said a sweet thank you to their friends and family for joining them that night before partying the night away. This couple decided to skip some of the traditional reception activities but had games for their guests to play instead to encourage everyone to mingle. Erin and Tyler let us know that they wanted a lot of candid photos of their guests and the party so we made sure that their gallery reflected all the fun that was had that night.
Thank you guys so much for inviting us to be a part of your day!
