When we think of Cayla and Greg, we automatically smile

because right from the beginning they have been an absolute pleasure to work with! We met before the Pandemic and were so excited for their 2020 wedding. Due to COVID, they had to postpone their big celebration but they were one of the few couples who decided that they still wanted to get married even if it meant not being to celebrate will all of their friends and family.

Little did they know

that their intimate wedding at Main Street Ballroom would inspire thousands of other couples to do the same thing! Their wedding images were published by several blogs before MiniWeddings and MicroWeddings were really popular and the feedback was so inspiring to the wedding industry as a whole. We’re so inspired by couples like this because it goes to show us that love trumps all.

So we actually shot their wedding before we got around to shooting their engagement session this year which is a first for us. But what was really exciting about this shoot was the fact that this married couple just found out that they were expecting their first child. So these photos were more than just engagement photos… they became their Baby Announcement Photos!

As parents ourselves,

we just could not contain our excitement so we ran to the car and got some smoke bombs to make it really special for the two of them :)
