Intimate Wedding at Main Street Ballroom during the Pandemic
COVID made so many couples reschedule their weddings to next year
but there are a few select couples who still wanted to make it official this year and tie the knot, even if that mean doing it untraditionally. Cayla and Greg made the decision to celebrate their union with a formal ceremony with just a handful of their family present. They did not want the pandemic to put a complete end to all of their plans so they were able to secure a date with their venue, Main Street Ballroom, for just a few hours to make all the magic happen. Jess, their planner, made sure that everything ran smooth throughout the day. The florist worked hard to ensure that all of the floral details were in place before the couple even showed up. Meanwhile Megapixels Media, the photographers and videographers, captured all of the details that happened leading up to the big moment. Cayla arrived to the venue with hair and make-up already done, excited to see her soon to be groom. Moments before the ceremony, the couple did a first touch where they stood on opposite sides of a barn door while holding hands and shared some sweet words of comfort before the ceremony began.
The ceremony took place in a beautifully lit corner of the venue. Surrounded by windows and 12 members of family. The most beautiful aspect of having a small intimate celebration like this is the personal influence and attention that each guest gets. At this wedding each guest was able to give some kind words of wisdom or marital advice before the couple said “I do”. After the ceremony they surprised the couple with string confetti and took quick family photos followed by Bide and Groom portraits before heading out off to dinner.
