Remember our friends Kelsey and Alex, the outdoorsy, media expert, Jurassic Park fanatics? Yep, Them! Well they had one of the most beautifully authentic and emotional weddings of 2018! They chose a beautiful day in September to have all of their closest friends and family gather at Woodlawn Farm. Both being Media Majors, Kelsey and Alex had their cameras on them throughout the day but still trusted us to capture their most special moments.

Kelsey got ready at the estate’s Manor House while Alex got slipped into his tux in the cider house right next door. While Alex greeted guests as they started to arrive, Kelsey decided to do a first look with her father which bought everyone to tears. Even the photographer (it’s ok, they all hugged it out…it was a good time).

Once all the guests were seated beside the Patapsco River, the Ceremony began. Kelsey and her father walked out of the Manor and the waterworks began all around. These two were so happy to see each other and all of their guests were thrilled to finally see these to join in this special union.

After the ceremony, they hugged and kissed all of their guests and had some toasts with their wedding party. We took the party to the front of the manor for family formal photos and then took the newlyweds around the grounds just for some intimate bride and groom portraits. We had plenty of time throughout cocktail hour for photos before the reception started.

As soon as the reception started, the couple danced, ate some delicious BBQ, and listened to heartfelt toasts from their family. Alex pulled out his guitar and played a song he wrote to his bride.It was one of the most sentimental acts we’ve seen a groom perform at a wedding. We stole the couple away one last time for some romantic shots under the moon.
