What’s Hot, Sparkly and Fresh all over?

2020 No Doubt! But check these two out! It takes a special kind of couple to use New Years Eve to spark something this special.

If you know us, you know one of our core goals is to shine a spotlight on couples who are not usually recognized in the mainstream wedding industry. This usually includes brides and grooms of color along with those of different ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs and sexual orientation. As a black married couple ourselves, we know what it’s like search the internet for wedding inspiration and to never see anyone who looks like you show up in the results (not a great feeling). So now as seasoned photographers (5 years in the game! Woo-Hoo!) with an arsenal of amazing wedding professionals in our circle, we have the opportunity to create beautiful photos and opportunities for couples who do not neatly fit into the wedding industry’s cookie cutter.

With all that being said, this was a custom wedding portrait session in Downtown Baltimore using all local to Maryland vendors. Our Bride, Tausha, wore a short natural hair style to accentuate the sparkling cascading fall of her gown specifically made for it’s New Year debut designed and created by Khemistry. She also wore a dramatic bridal eye look with dazzling dangle ear rings provided by Elite Secrets. Tausha’s entire look was styled within the Baltimore Bridal Boutique, Elite Secrets, as Khemistry works very closely with the boutique on multiple occasions.

Jonas, our groom, wore a custom navy 3-piece suit tailored by Shaw’s Covenant. It was accented with some classic gold pieces and of course matched the bubbly from Cooper’s Hawk that Jonas bought with him to celebrate.

The two are ringing in the new year by celebrating with sparklers and champagne in the heart of Baltimore with local to Maryland wedding professionals.
