Living in Gratitude + Inspired by Our Couples | Baltimore Wedding Photographers

WE MADE IT!

So long 2018, HELLO 2019. We welcome this year with open arms and open hearts. Although, we don’t share too much of our personal lives on social media, most of you who know us know how trying 2018 was for us. We dealt with a lot of loss in our personal lives while still managing and maintaining our full-time jobs and 17 Weddings. All in all, the one word we walk away with from 2018 is GRATITUDE.

We are so incredibly thankful for all of the beautiful and wonderful people that we have met and have grown close with this year. If your reading this and have been a part of our journey…even a little bit, we thank you. The couples and the family that we’ve been allowed to be close with this year have helped us tremendously (more than you know) and you make this business (Megapixels Media Photography) a soulful experience for us.

I know the photos on this blog is what what baited you here, but for real, let me tell you about this couple. This is Meagan and Terrell. We met Meagan through a mutual friend years ago and every interaction with her since we’ve met has been nothing but authentic warmth connected with genuine character. When we found out that she was engaged to Terrell, we had several friends reach out to us to tell us how happy they were for them and how we should reach out to them to be their photogs. I told them they know we’re photogeeks, if they want us they’ll let us know (no pressure lol). Not too long after, we were sitting at a table discussing their wedding plans and photography expectations. Months later when my mom passed, I had so many of our 2018 and 2019 brides reach out to express condolences but what I did not expect was Meagan’s mother reaching out to comfort me throughout this time and seeing both of them at my mother’s wake the day before the funeral. I was so touched to see them(as well as others) but to me, that just speaks volumes about the people that God has placed in our lives. No one is here by accident.

When we met up with Meagan and Terrell for their engagement session, the warmth that I’ve always felt from Meagan is multiplied by Terrell. They both have an infectious laughter that bounces between the two of them whenever they speak. Terrell works as an inspirational Zumba instructor who helps people become the best versions of themselves. With their personalities and faith-based mindset these two are destined for great things in 2019. We can’t wait to see and celebrate with them on their wedding day :)

Thank you to all of our couples for inspiring us to be stronger, more faithful and better documenters over all.
