Pin items that speak to your soul, not just what is photographed beautifully. Pinterest can be a bride’s favorite planning tool when it comes to her wedding day, but be sure to be selective in choosing what to add to your board(s). Once you have a pretty solid idea of what you like (and what you don’t like) it will be easy to find all of the elements to make your wedding dream a reality.

·         Get Local
You can find everything you need to materialize your wedding dream right on pinterest, including your Wedding Pros! Most Wedding Vendors display their best work on Pinterest. To find Wedding Professionals that are available in your area, you can search for keywords with geospecific adjectives like: Baltimore Make Up Artist, DC Wedding Planner, Maryland Wedding Photographer, etc. 
 

·         Reach Out and Talk to Vendors
Most vendors are more than happy to chat with brides about their ideas and plans and how they would be willing to help. Even if you’re not sure who you want to book (or if you’re truly interested in their services). The best thing you can do is ask them a few questions to add comfort to your planning experience and value to your day.

·         Stay Organized
It’s OK to have more than one pinterest board for your wedding (so what if your fiancé is looking at you cross-eyed). We recommend splitting up your wedding into different boards because sometimes one master wedding pinterest board can get overwhelming! You can split them into categories like: Wedding Bouquets, Bridal Make-up, Favorite Wedding Photographs, Dream Wedding Decor, Wedding Day Fashion, etc.

·         Get Personal
The best thing you can do on your wedding day is to BE YOU. It’s awesome to be inspired by other couples weddings but, trust us, you will feel the best when your wedding day reflects you and your soon to be. So if you both are obsessed with Game of Thrones and want an Iron Throne as your sweet heart table at the reception, than DO THAT! You’d be happy you followed your heart and there’s someone out there who would love to see that too (me).
