There’s something beautifully simplistic about a Doughnut. An endless ring of fluffy, fried dough decorated with sweet goodness in the form of glazing, confection sugar, sprinkles and other amazing creations. The Doughnut is a perfect mix of creamy, crispy and crumbly deliciousness

 For those of you who really know us; know that we are big foodies! We don’t discriminate against food but we are constantly on the lookout for gourmet that is above average. The Doughnut, for instance, is a timeless breakfast classic dating back to the 1800’s.

So what’s so special about these doughnuts and how do they have anything to do with you guys?

Last Sunday morning, we went to Diablo Doughnuts located in Fell’s Point before an engagement session for a quick doughnut to boost our day. We were instantly greeted by Roslan, the owner, and he gave us a run-down of each one of his artisan doughnuts. He had selections like Orange Pistachio, Maple Bacon, Marshmallow Stuffed and Unicorn Farts (just to name a few!) made with fresh and local ingredients. It was sooo hard to choose just one but we chose the Blueberry Basil and the Blackberry Lime and needless to say…they were Awesome!

They were kind enough to let us take some photos inside and it had us thinking about what Roslan had created. He had adopted a concept that people have been doing for over a hundred years and twisted it to make it his own to benefit those around him. He is a true, one-of-a-kind artist because of his vision to construct and supply a specialty, handcrafted product (doughnuts) to all of us with a smile.

It reminded us of how we wish to run our business. We have always loved photography but within the past few years we are twisting the role of what a classic photographer is and instead we are focusing on what a photographer should be. Our style, in terms of photography, has changed so much throughout the years to give our clients a one-of-a-kind experience. Just like these delicious doughnuts, we strive to create timeless and  classic experience with a new modern day twist.
