What better way to connect with your wedding photographer(s) before your big day? The engagement session is the first exciting step in your wedding photography experience and it is the best way to express your personal style and character. Allow yourself the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera while having a ton of fun with your loved one.

During your initial consultation, we take the time to help you find the perfect setting for your Engagement Session. We find that these sessions are best done someplace that is personally meaningful to the two of you, whether it is where you first met, where you had your first date or where he proposed. If none of those locations are interesting to you, we have plenty more of beautifully scenic locations to choose from depending on your style. For a more personal touch, we recommend that you bring something personable with you, like your pet, your favorite game or that ugly sweater you gave him for his birthday last year.

Engagement Sessions last an hour to an hour and a half long but seem to go by very quickly! During that time we get to know each other by discussing more details about your wedding and discovering your shooting style while giving you some hints on how to move and hold your body. In addition, we are taking notes on poses or shots that you love and also the ones that you don’t care for as much so we know what to shoot for on your big day.
